  • Two repertoires of performance level such as
  1. Early               before 1600
  2. Baroque           1601-1750
  3. Classical          1751-1810
  4. Romantic         1811-1900
  5. 20th Century    1901-present

e.g. of such composers are J.S. Bach (Lute Suite), A. Barrios (La Catedral), F. Sor (Malbrough Variation), F. Tarrega (Adelita), I. Albeniz (Asturias), H. Villa-Lobos (Choros), etc

 

Second Round (Heats & Semi Finals)

  • The same repertoires as with the first round, but to be played in front of a panel of Jury.

Final Round

  • Two new contrasting repertoires and must not be the same as first & second round.
  • Duration of each repertoire should not exceed 10 mins (No combination of duration)
  • All repertoires will have to be performed from memory 
  • All contestants have to submit 3 sets of each repertoire for Heats/  Semi final upon application
  • Contestants who enter the final have to submit 9 sets of each repertoire
  • No changes of the repertoires once submitted
  • Closing date for submission: Monday, 18 November 2013
  • Successful participants will be notified by Wednesday, 20 November 2013
